Taylor Office Building (Portland, Oregon)

This two story office building renovation is on a quarter city block in close proximity to Jeld-Wen Field in the Goose Hollow neighborhood. In addition to tenant and core improvements on both floors, second floor office space upgrades include replacing undersized windows with large glazed openings that include sliding doors and metal guard rails on both the south and east facades. Both floors at the south and east facades have been seismically upgraded. The corner entry lobby improvements include new storefront glass, retrofitted stair with open risers & wood treads, new metal guard rails, and a suspended wood ceiling with pendant lights. Curved perforated and illuminated metal canopies have been designed, but not yet installed, for the second floor corner entry and for the first floor entry on the east fa├žade.
